Top 6 things your Cradlewise can do

6-cradlewise-features-opt-2-V2-2

You already know about Cradlewise’s signature bounce, and that we help babies (and families!) get more sleep. But there are some hidden gems built into our convertible smart crib that many parents don’t know about!

Here are six surprising things you might not know your Cradlewise can do (hint: we do way more than bounce 😉.)

1. Let Grandma watch the baby sleep

Cradlewise connects your baby with loved ones even when they live thousands of miles away. With Cradlewise’s caregiver functionality, you can invite friends and family members to check in on baby from anywhere in the world and share in their memorable firsts.

This feature helps you build a virtual village and is especially great for grandparents who want to feel closer to their grandchildren, even if they live far away.

You can add your friends, uncles and aunties, nannies, and babysitters as well any other caregivers to the crib. You can add up to 10 caregivers in total and grant them different levels of access to your baby’s crib—from watching the baby to controlling the motion and sound settings of the crib.

2. Play baby’s favorite lullaby

Music and sounds play a pivotal role in your baby’s development, and we’ve built sound features into your baby’s crib to soothe, comfort, and engage them.

Cradlewise has a built-in sound machine with white, pink, and brown noise sleep tracks. And the best part? You can customize these tracks by layering soothing sounds, like heartbeats, waves, and rain.

Using our Spotify integration feature, you can also curate a Spotify playlist for your baby to play your favorite songs, lullabies, nursery rhymes — or whatever they’re into from wherever you happen to be. 📣

3. Monitor baby’s room temperature

Your little one’s room temperature has a surprising impact on their sleep quality. The ideal temperature for babies is generally between 68°F to 72°F, although it may vary slightly from baby to baby.

Dr. Anoop Rao MD, Cradlewise Medical Advisor and Neonatologist at the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, says, “Room temperature plays a crucial role in both sleep quality for infants and safety since overheated babies (from over bundling) are at risk for SIDS. The ideal temperature for babies is generally between 68℉ to 72℉, although it may vary slightly from baby to baby.”

The Cradlewise app has a room temperature monitoring feature that allows you to quickly confirm your baby’s room temperature from anywhere, whether you’re overseas on a business trip or watching Netflix down the hall.

This feature displays your baby’s room temperature on the home screen, making it easier to check, and giving you the peace of mind that your baby is sleeping comfortably.

4. Follow baby’s sleep movements

It’s a feature you’ll flip over! For the best possible monitoring experience, we recommend placing your baby’s head directly underneath the monitor arc. This will give you a clear view of your baby on the monitor.

But as your little one grows and starts moving around more frequently in their sleep, they’ll sometimes crawl out of the monitor’s view.

With our camera flip feature, you can rest easy knowing that you can closely watch them.

Our camera flip feature in our app allows you to get a clear view of your baby no matter which side of the cradle they’re closer to.

5. Convert from a smart bassinet to a smart crib without tools

It’s a huge day when your little one graduates from sleeping in a bassinet to a crib. And Cradlewise makes this transition easy, so you don’t have to shop for a bassinet, rearrange your baby’s nursery, and then help them transition into a new sleeping environment.

Cradlewise can be easily converted from a bassinet to a crib without any tools, saving you time, energy, and money. Also, sleeping in the same environment doesn’t disrupt your baby’s sleep cycle. They can comfortably sleep with the same old bounce and sleep tracks as their bassinet.

6. Analyze baby’s sleep patterns

The Cradlewise app offers insights into your baby’s sleep patterns, helping you better understand their sleep habits and preferences. The app tells you about your baby’s sleep duration, wake-ups, and the number of times the crib soothed them back to sleep. This valuable information can help you optimize your baby’s sleep schedule.
